LHLA’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

In light of this unprecedented worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Latino Heritage Los Angeles activities will be on pause temporarily. Your safety and the safety of those we love is of utmost priority.

Our mission to bring people together in order to bridge cultural and racial divisions through large gatherings and events is not currently feasible for the time being due to the ongoing pandemic, but we encourage everyone to please stay connected virtually!

With the economy slowly reopening and shelter-in-place practices still recommended, make sure to check in on your friends and family regularly. While you are at home, take some time to learn about why it is important to commemorate Latino Heritage Month. After all, celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of Latinas and Latinos is possible from home. One way to do this is to read up on what we don’t learn in school or what doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.

Thank you for your support and dedication to our Latino Heritage LA community. We are striving to remain strong through these difficult times.
